Admissions Leader Role

Admissions Leaders are the first point of contact for prospective students looking to pursue their educational/career goals in the beauty industry. You must have a desire to help make a difference in peoples lives. This person will be responsible for guiding prospective Future Professionals through the entire enrollment process and through career placement after graduation.

What We Are Looking For

This is a fast-paced high-demand position requiring the candidate to wear many different hats in a busy high-energy cosmetology school. Bring a positive and professional attitude and youll fit right in with our Be Nice culture. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background and the ability to manage goal-driven daily tasks efficiently and professionally. Must be self-motivated to meet and exceed enrollment goals. This position requires confidence resilience strong organizational and communications skills exceptional persistence a high level of commitment and the ability to guide and motivate others.

Skills/Competencies Required:

  • Ability to meet and exceed monthly/weekly goals
  • Maintain timely follow-up with all leads according to established processes
  • Ensure zero error rate in data gathering and entry
  • Maintain database in an organized error-free manner
  • Proficiency on a PC computer Internet and email applications(CRM experience a plus)
  • Skills in marketing supervision teamwork documentation and business writing
  • Passion for the beauty industry
  • Maintain honesty and professionalism
  • Solid work history with verifiable references
  • Experience in Sales Business or comparable degree

Essential Functions:

  • Facilitates tours of the school facility and virtually
  • Provide advising throughout the financial aid process to prospective and current students and their families.
  • High focus in organizing and participating in recruitment events such as the Open Houses and high school relationships.
  • Participates in enrollment and financial aid training via virtual and/or on-site in-person events.
  • Follow up on and respond to all prospective and current students in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of available scholarships payment options.
  • Ensure goal of timely turnaround for all admissions and financial aid applications.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
  • Goal oriented and able to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.
  • Proficiently uses Google Drive Microsoft Office Suite and Apple products.
  • Strong record-keeping and maintenance skills.
  • Maintains a professional image and demeanor at all times reflecting the values and standards of the school.

Terms of Employment:

  • Location: Paul Mitchell the School Milwaukee
  • Employment Status: Full-time 100% in person
  • Hours of Employment: 40 hours/week with evening availability
  • Pay Type: Hourly Range $18-$19
