JOB SUMMARY

The Digital Operations Team is currently recruiting for a Digital Specialist. This position is responsible for the execution of defined digital marketing and operational tactics that support regional marketing brands loyalty and hotel teams across Europe Middle East & Africa.

The Digital Specialist Digital Operations Team role will ensure completion of defined digital tasks as requested by the Digital Operations Team leadership. In addition the role will support the completion of defined marketing tasks for hotel teams who participate in select Digital Field Marketing packages and services valid across Europe Middle East & Africa in compliance with global standards across digital platforms and channels.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

  • Diploma or equivalent certification from higher education advantageous
  • Previous work experience in customer service / client servicing / international teams advantageous.
  • Microsoft Office Suite knowledge specifically Excel PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Experience in workflow management/ workflow management systems advantageous.
  • Organized detail-oriented and deadline-sensitive; takes initiative and anticipates needs

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Paid Media Support

  • Execute paid social campaigns through Meta (Facebook and Instagram)
  • Execute paid media campaigns through Google Ads
  • Execute paid media campaigns as per campaign brief
  • Track and report on all campaign results per the defined cadence
  • Provide campaign audits and optimizations
  • Ensure all deadlines are met

Managing Hotels Online Presence - Distributed Authoring

  • Quality assurance and approval of hotel offer submissions
  • Update and load photography into Digital Asset Center library ensuring correct compliancy
  • Quality assurance and approval of hotel photography on Digital Asset Center

Managing Workflows Optimization of Digital Hotel Presence

  • Support in optimizing hotel website and outlet websites as directed by the Centralized Workflow dashboard
  • Load hotels offers as directed by the Centralized Workflow dashboard
  • Build offers in MBOP (hotel offers / ancillary offers / MEOs and EEOs) as required
  • Assist in the execution and implementation of deliverables including audits as outlined by the Centralized Workflow dashboard
  • Support in optimizing content related tasks such as asset management content score monitoring and OTA content as outlined by the Centralized Workflow dashboard
  • Provide additional support as needed
  • Provide additional admin support as requested by leadership
  • Work with the Digital Operations Team to coordinate Search Engine Optimization (SEO) tactics and manage keyword strategy for hotels opted into the Program
  • Support with China Ready Program tactics and managing deliverables for hotels opted into the Program as outlined by the Digital Specialist Manager
  • Support on the execution of FPX and Pre-Opening package deliverables as outlined by the Digital Specialist Manager
  • Support in launching digital marketing campaigns (paid search paid social) as outlined by the Digital Specialist Manager

Reporting Suite

  • Support DFM team in pulling automated reports for participating hotels and distribute to relevant team member within set time frame.

SEO Support

  • Intermediate knowledge on the principals of SEO
  • Support on SEO activities as needed including publishing of content and creation of reports

Supporting Operations

  • Liaise and work with DFM team members on content audits and scores.
  • Implementation and workflow process management of all content optimization requests for the digital field marketing teams.
  • Identify training opportunities to elevate digital knowledge.
  • Support with defined projects as outlined by the Senior Manager or Project Manager to ensure the overall performance of the team its areas/markets and participating hotels.

Relationships & Processes

  • Develop knowledge and work with Marriott international teams to improve turnaround and SLAs to hotels.
  • Manage relationship with key vendors to drive scalability of efforts and implementation consistency (e.g. Digital HQ Tripadvisor etc.) and platform development oriented at better tracking/conversion
  • Where appropriate develop support and implement new processes and track output to improve efficiency for the team.
