The role:We are currently recruiting for experienced kitchen porters to work across our hospitality portfolio (Carbis Bay Estate The Gannet Inn & Gannet House). The successful candidates will be friendly personable and passionate about all things food and drink.
Youll work under our Head and Sous Chefs to support the back of house team in the smooth running of the kitchen.
Duties include:
- Keeping the kitchen in excellent condition at all times maintaining the highest food hygiene and Health & Safety standards and taking care of equipment.
- Developing product knowledge and understanding of company ethos
- Maintaining high professional standards throughout the restaurant
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends
Job Types:Full-time Part-time Temporary Permanent
Successful candidates will have:
- Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
- A strong attention to detail
- An excellent work ethic organisation and communication skills
- Determination and willingness to learn
- A Friendly and approachable personality
COVID-19 considerations:PPE will be supplied if required. With systems in place to reduce direct customer contact social distancing etc
