Job Description
At Always Best Care we provide compassionate high-quality in-home care for seniors and individuals needing support with daily living activities. We take pride in offering care that emphasizes personal dignity safety and emotional well-being. As a trusted care provider in the Greater West Houston area we are expanding our team and are looking for dedicated caregivers and CNAs to join us.
We are urgently hiring for a caregiver or CNA to assist a client in Deer Park TX (77536).
Location: Greater West Houston (Current Need: Deer Park TX)
Shifts Available: Full-time and PRN Day Shift (Night Shift when needed)
Responsibilities:
- Follow a care plan outlined by a supervisor to provide daily living assistance to elderly clients including but not limited to medication reminders meal preparation light housekeeping and personal care
- Monitor and track client health and well-being and report any changes or concerns to the supervisor
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with errands appointments and transportation as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on client care and activities
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols to protect clients and maintain a clean and healthy environment
- Communicate effectively with clients families and supervisors to ensure the best care for clients
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Prior experience working as a caregiver preferably in a senior care setting.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificationis ideal but not required.
- Ability to pass a background check and reference check.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy patience and compassion towards elderly clients.
- Must be comfortable around dogs (client has pets in the home)
- Must be willing to travel up to 25 miles when needed.
