Job Description
Position: VDC Project Manager
Reports to: Director of VDC
Location: Columbus Ohio
Pay Range:$100000 - $125000
We consider several factors when preparing a compensation package for successful candidates.
Superior is looking for a highly motivated and organized VDC Project Manager to join our fast-paced team. This position will work on several innovative and exciting projects in a variety of market sectors including data centers higher education healthcare enterprise and industrial projects. This role is based at our headquarters in Columbus Ohio.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead BIM project teams (modelers VDC coordinators/designers and BIM managers) providing clear guidance on scope deliverables and timelines
- Own all BIM project deliverables per contract including 2D layouts 3D coordinated models prefabrication sheets and install drawings
- Ensure high-quality BIM output and compliance with the full project schedule from kickoff to closeout
- Manage project finances including budget tracking cost control and change orders
- Chair project meetings and provide regular updates to customers
- Review estimates design drawings specifications and BIM execution plans
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering Project Operations and Field teams to ensure alignment
- Uphold and evolve departmental BIM standards
- Build client trust through responsive communication strong collaboration and proactive problem-solving

Your Expertise
- Youve earned your associates degree or bachelors degree in electrical engineering or construction management or other related fields.
- You have 3 years of experience in VDC/BIM including Bluebeam Navisworks Revit and shop drawings.
- You have 5 years of experience in commercial project management or construction management.
- You have 7 years of experience working as a consulting electrical engineer/designer field electrician or other related fields.
