Role Description:

Key Skills: API Automation Rest Assured Java CI/CD Core Banking domain

Exp: 3yrs

Location - Bangalore

Technical Requirement:

Key Responsibilities: Design develop and maintain automated test cases for RESTful APIs using RestAssured. Write detailed test plans test cases and test scripts to verify the functionality reliability and performance of APIs. Perform functional integration regression and performance testing on APIs. Set up and manage API test environments ensuring appropriate test data and conditions. Identify analyze and document bugs and track their resolution in collaboration with the development team. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process and automation frameworks. Use tools like Postman SoapUI or other REST API testing tools Participate in code reviews providing feedback on test coverage quality and efficiency. Work in an Agile/Scrum environment attending daily stand-ups sprint planning and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications: 3-6 years of experience in API testing with a focus on RESTful services. Proficient with RestAssured for API automation testing. Strong knowledge of Java and OOP principles. Experience in building maintaining and enhancing API test automation frameworks. Familiarity with JSON XML and understanding of RESTful API concepts. Experience with testing tools such as Postman SoapUI or similar. Strong understanding of test case design techniques test execution and test management processes. Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins GitLab) to integrate test automation. Knowledge of version control systems like Git. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills comfortable working in a team environment. Experience with performance testing APIs using tools like JMeter will be preferable
