Opportunity
SWK has a rewarding opportunity for a Concreter to join the team.
We have a strong portfolio of projects currently underway across Sydneys Northwest and Southwest as well as the Hunter and Illawarra regions. This role will require travel to multiple job sites primarily located in Sydneys Southwest region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Concrete Placement: Form reo and place concrete accurately ensuring proper levelling and adherence to out and install formwork and boxing for concrete pours including building pits lintels and kerb.
- Concrete Finishing: Screed shape and apply finishing techniques for a polished result.
- Kerbs Gutters and Footpaths: Constructing and finishing kerb and gutters footpaths and driveways to a high standard of quality and accuracy.
- Tool Operation: Proficient and safe use of all tools and equipment associated with concreting including trowels and power tools.
- General Labouring: Support the team with site preparation cleanup and general tasks to keep the concreting process running smoothly.
We Are Looking for Someone Who Has:
- Minimum 2 years experience in concreting
- Knowledge of concreting processes and able to interpret site plans
- Ability to work in a team
- Physically capable of performing the required tasks
- A construction white card
- Valid Drivers Licence with flexibility to travel between job sites
- Commitment to health safety environment and quality standards
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
