JOB SUMMARY: The Scheduling Coordinator position is responsible for preparing schedules for a range of departments. The Scheduler works with the department to ensure that the schedule meets their needs while balancing it with labor minimums and guidelines. The scheduler is responsible for the duties listed below:
Support Team Members with questions regarding Schedule
Process all department schedules for client groups
Process terms
Process transfers/status updates
Process New hires
Handles training schedules for new hires
Tracks weekly forecast and volumes
Updates data for daily labor metrics
Updates Leave of Absence approvals
Updates Time Off approvals
Process email requests from departments
Process email request from employees
Process all department switches
Update team member schedule preferences
Email department memos
Other projects and task as assigned
Additional requirements:
Must be able to work Monday through Friday holidays and occasional team member events.
Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience required
High School Diploma Required
Consistently exhibits an upbeat and positive attitude at all times.
Exhibits strong communication skills; including public speaking.
Provides feedback and suggestions to individual departments.
Proficient in computer: Microsoft Word Excel and Power Point.
Responsible for direct team member contact and interfacing via email; letter in-person and by telephone.
Conveys policies and procedures related to department and Centralized Scheduling practices
Works with all departments to assist in completing administrative tasks
Adhere to regulatory departmental and company policies in an ethical manner and is an outstanding example of what customer service looks like.
Physical Mental and Environmental Demands:
Must be able to maneuver to all area of the casino including in and around pit areas.
Must be able to bend stoop reach kneel twist and grip items when necessary.
Must be able to stand/ walk for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
Must be able to use a computer: Microsoft Word Excel and Power Point.
Must be able to read write and understand English.
Must be able to 10 key and be proficient in typing skills
