Responsibilities:
- Operate production line equipment and hand/power tools efficiently at all workstations to assemble components.
- Assemble align and adjust fabricated parts components or units according to specifications.
- Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances product specifications and quality standards.
- Repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Keep daily assembly production records.
- Follow established manufacturing procedures and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of related experience in assembly operations.
- Proficiency in using hand tools power tools and other manufacturing assembly line equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints assembly sketches and procedures.
- High level of manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Basic computer navigation skills.
- Soldering certification is a plus.
- Ability to calculate figures and perform simple addition subtraction multiplication and division of whole numbers and fractions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently within established procedures.
Physical Requirements:
- Standing for sustained periods of time.
- Working with hand/fingers primarily with fingers rather than the whole hand.
- Lifting objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position.
Pay: $20.00-$23.50/hr
