**10 hour shifts except on the weekends. Weekend is a 12 hour shift (1800-0630) and it is every other weekend requirement** Patient Age Group Preferred: Neonates Infants Pediatrics Adolescents Adults Geriatrics Must be a generalist and be able to work independently as a tech Work Setting Experience Preferred: Inpatient Lab Community Hospital General Skills Experience: Venipuncture Specimen Processing Blood Bank Experience: ABO/Rh/Antibody Screen & ID AHG Crossmatch Antibody Typing: Tub Method Crossmatch-Immediate Spin/IgG Electronic Crossmatch Indirect Coombs Test Transfusion Reaction Workup Microbiology Experience Required: Rapid Test Kits RSV and Cytospin which is preferred Chemistry Experience: Cardiac Enzymes Hematology/Coag Experience: Automated Instrument CBC Manual Manual Differential Occult Blood Platelet Count Immunology/Serology Experience: Rapid Test Kits Urinalysis Experience: Analyzer Crystal Identification Manual Macroscopic UA Microscopic UA Equipment Experience Preferred: ACL TOP Beckman CellaVision Documentation System Experience: EPIC and Sunquest Certifications/Licenses: ASCP- MLS or MT ASCP- MLT Minimum Experience Required: 1 year Scrub Color: Solid Black
