Job Description
Mammography Technologist (Contract Role) Job Details:
- Location: Cambridge Massachusetts 02138
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day Shift(8) - 8:00 start
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $2400 - $2640
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms in accordance with ARRT and ACR guidelines.
- Prepare patients for procedures explain the exam and position them appropriately.
- Ensure imaging quality and optimize image clarity through proper technique.
- Maintain compliance with all federal state and local regulations including MQSA and HIPAA.
- Operate and maintain mammography equipment in a safe and effective manner.
- Monitor patient conditions during procedures and respond appropriately to emergencies.
- Accurately document patient information and maintain imaging records.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.
- Ensure a clean and orderly work environment maintaining infection control standards.
- Stay current with continuing education requirements and industry best practices.
- ARRT Certification (R and M required)
- Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License (Active and in good standing)
- Minimum 1 2 years of recent mammography experience (required)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- CPR/BLS Certification (required)
