Position Summary:
Seeking a Calibration Technician with experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing to perform maintenance testing and repair of instrumentation and equipment. The role involves ensuring instruments gauges and devices are calibrated accurately in compliance with GMP standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calibrate and troubleshoot facility utility and production equipment (not laboratory equipment).
- Maintain accurate calibration records and enter data using software such as Calibration Manager AMMS MS Excel and Word.
- Perform timely calibrations as per SOPs and manufacturer guidelines.
- Develop and revise SOPs and change controls for new/existing equipment.
- Order materials and perform adjustments/repairs to ensure compliance ahead of preventive maintenance or validation deadlines.
- Respond promptly to critical facility issues including alarms and environmental monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and internal safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of calibration experience in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment.
- Background in basic electrical/electronic training or equivalent hands-on instrumentation experience.
- Strong troubleshooting documentation and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with CAPA processes and deviation handling.
- Willingness to work overtime as required.
