Job Description
Job Summary (in list format):
- Design develop and deploy enterprise-grade networking appliances focusing on transport connectivity and networking products.
- Lead technical initiatives mentor team members and build technical expertise within the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams promoting a culture of teamwork and knowledge sharing.
- Manage multiple high-priority tasks demonstrating excellent communication accountability ownership and adaptability.
- Develop embedded software using C C and/or Python with a strong focus on open-source data plane/fast path solutions such as VPP/DPDK.
- Work with L2-L4 networking stacks network protocols (TCP/IP UDP ARP DHCP DNS NAT) and security protocols (IPsec SSL).
- Apply knowledge of software-defined networking distributed systems overlays and tunneling technologies.
- Write clean testable and maintainable code while ensuring security-first practices.
- Effectively communicate complex technical concepts and product architectures at both team and senior management levels.
- Bring over 8 years of experience in enterprise appliance development and at least 3 years of independent feature design and delivery.
- Leverage experience with cloud service providers (AWS Azure GCP OCI Alibaba Cloud) and tools such as Trex.
- Utilize strong interpersonal skills to thrive in collaborative startup-like environments.
- Additional desirable skills include cloud architectures DevOps distributed computing microservices full stack development and solution design.
