JOB TITLE: Cable Assembly - 1st Shift
LOCATION: Orlando FL
PAY RATE: $19.80/hour

Summary:
-
Responsible for building harnesses per wiring diagrams and form boards following Class 3 IPC standards.
-
Tasks include soldering crimping inserting contacts into connectors and torquing backshells.
-
Must be able to interpret written instructions from mechanical engineering and read engineering schematics independently.

Build cable harnesses to wiring diagrams and form boards
-
Perform soldering crimping and plugging contacts into connectors
-
Torque backshells according to specifications
-
Follow Class 3 IPC workmanship standards
-
Interpret mechanical drawings and schematics
-
Use hand and power tools jigs and saws to complete assemblies
-
Conduct continuity checks and visual inspections on in-process and completed work
-
May disassemble modify rework reassemble and test experimental or prototype units
-
Adhere to quality control standards and perform in-line inspections
Requirements:
-
High School Diploma or GED required
-
1 2 years of hands-on cable harness assembly experience
-
1 2 years reading and interpreting engineering schematics
-
1 2 years working to the following standards:
-
IPC-WHMA-A-620
-
IPC-A-610
-
IPC-J-STD-001
-
-
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
