Job Title: Infrastructure Project Manager (Cisco Networking)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Infrastructure Project Manager with strong experience managing IT infrastructure projects specifically involving Cisco routers switches and network upgrades. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical understanding of networking technologies and a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver end-to-end infrastructure projects focusing on network upgrades hardware refreshes and Cisco deployments.
- Work closely with network engineers system admins and vendors to define scope timelines and deliverables.
- Oversee the installation configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco routers and switches.
- Develop detailed project plans and track progress through milestones budgets and risk assessments.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including security data center and operations.
- Provide regular status reports to stakeholders and escalate issues as needed.
- Ensure all infrastructure changes follow change management and compliance protocols.
- Manage procurement licensing and vendor relations for networking equipment.
- Lead UAT handover and documentation processes at project closeout.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in IT infrastructure environments.
- Proven experience managing projects involving Cisco routers and switches.
- Strong understanding of LAN/WAN TCP/IP routing protocols (EIGRP OSPF BGP) and network design.
- Experience in data center migrations network segmentation or cloud networking is a plus.
- Solid experience with project management tools (e.g. MS Project JIRA Smartsheet).
- Familiarity with ITIL or other service management frameworks.
- Strong communication organizational and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP PRINCE2 or similar project management certification.
- Cisco certifications (e.g. CCNA CCNP) are a strong plus.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
