Job Description
Job Title: Data Architect (ONLY W2)
Job Location: 2 Concourse Pkwy NE Suite 800 Atlanta GA 30328 (Onsite 2 Days a Week)
Duration: 6 Months Contract with possibility to extension
Job Description:
What is the scope of work that is being completed M&A - new acquisition being absorbed into existing data environment. They will be overhauling the data space decoupling operations and reporting. Initially a lot of Discovery to understand the current data model and determine what changes need to be made. There is a lot of pressure to build out analytics but want to do it right and methodically. Will help build model migrate and then test. A lot of discussions around Snowflake fabric integration and replicating data in AWS. Need to make sure they are building the data model in a safe place. Will also need to be customer facing to understand the pain points they really need to address.
Responsibilities:
- Design scalable secure and efficient data models for cloud analytics.
- Define data governance metadata management and access control strategies.
- Collaborate with engineers and analysts to align architecture with business needs.
- Review and optimize data storage and query performance.
Required Skills:
- Expertise in data modeling (dimensional normalized denormalized).
- Deep knowledge of Azure Synapse SQL and metadata tools.
- Strong understanding of data governance and compliance (e.g. GDPR HIPAA).
Day to day responsibilities:

- Native Cloud Data Architecture Exp (AWS/Azure)
- Healthcare data exp
- 4 Snowflake Data Warehouse expertise
