Job Description
Position: Orthopedic Surgical Technologist (Direct Hire)
Location: Peoria IL
Schedule: Monday Friday 6:30 AM 3:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time Direct Hire

Overview:
We are hiring experienced Surgical Technologists with a focus in orthopedics to join a respected multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center. Certification is not required but candidates must have at least 2 years of experience.
Responsibilities:

Prepare the operating room and maintain a sterile field

Assist surgeons during procedures and anticipate instrument needs

Handle surgical specimens and perform counts with circulating nurse

Clean and restock ORs post-procedure
-
Cross-train across multiple specialties

Support onboarding of new staff and contribute to ongoing process improvement

General Surgery Orthopedics Plastics Podiatry Gynecology GU ENT Ophthalmology Oral Surgery
Requirements:
-
2 years of Surgical Technologist experience

Strong understanding of OR procedures and sterile techniques

Ability to work in a collaborative fast-paced setting

Completion of a Surgical Tech program preferred
Additional Details:

No nights weekends or major holidays

Exposure to surgical and clinical environments with proper PPE provided
