Job Description

Job Summary:

This role is for an X-Ray Technologist in a hospital setting. The technologist will perform X-ray procedures including fluoroscopy and portable X-rays for all age ranges in the ED Trauma and OR. The position requires a minimum of one year of experience and adherence to established safety protocols.
Location: Anchorage Alaska United States
Responsibilities:
- Performing X-ray procedures (including fluoroscopy and portable X-rays) for all age ranges.
- Working in the ED Trauma and OR departments.
- Adhering to established safety protocols.
- Maintaining and cleaning equipment.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Current BLS certification.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registration.
- Minimum one year of experience as an X-Ray Technologist.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Fluoroscopy experience.

Special Considerations:
- No on-call requirements.
- No weekend requirements.
- Willingness to float within the scope of practice to meet facility needs.
- Open to accommodating a block schedule.
- First-time X-Ray Technologists are accepted.
- Applicants permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility.

Scheduling:
- 3 twelve-hour day shifts per week.
- Guaranteed 70 hours per two weeks.
- Possibility of being called off for one 10-hour shift per two weeks.
