Position: PRT EVS Teacher
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated PRT EVS Teacher to join our team in India. This on-site role involves inspiring students in the Environmental Studies curriculum fostering a love for nature and promoting environmental responsibility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and a genuine interest in nurturing young minds.
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for Environmental Studies.
- Facilitate class discussions that encourage critical thinking and environmental awareness.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation.
- Assess and evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate environmental topics across the curriculum.
- Organize and participate in outdoor learning experiences related to environmental studies.
- Utilize various teaching aids and resources to enhance learning.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively while creating a positive learning atmosphere.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in environmental education.
- Incorporate technology into the classroom to enhance learning experiences.
- Attend faculty meetings training sessions and professional development opportunities.
- Encourage student participation in eco-friendly initiatives and projects.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance and progress.
- Support the schools mission vision and educational philosophy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Education or relevant field.
- Specific training in Environmental Studies is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the primary level.
- Strong understanding of child development principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to create a positive learning environment.
- Experience with diverse student populations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to use educational technology effectively.
- Creativity in lesson planning and problem-solving.
