Position: PRT English Teacher
Location: India (On-Site)
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop engaging English lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.
- Deliver lessons in a clear and effective manner to foster student understanding.
- Assess student performance and provide feedback to support their learning journey.
- Create a positive classroom environment that promotes student engagement.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain discipline.
- Understand and accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.
- Prepare teaching materials and resources for classroom use.
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to deliver an integrated curriculum.
- Utilize technology and educational tools to enhance learning experiences.
- Encourage and facilitate students participation in school events and activities.
- Stay updated with the latest educational trends and methodologies.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Monitor and report on students social and emotional development.
- Foster a love for reading and literature among students.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in English Education or related field.
- Teaching certification or relevant credentials.
- Proven experience in teaching English to Primary School students.
- Strong understanding of pedagogical practices and child development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to create an inclusive classroom environment.
- Proficiency in using digital tools for teaching.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated patience and understanding in handling diverse student needs.
- Effective collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Passion for teaching and enhancing student learning.
- Willingness to support students in their extracurricular activities.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods based on student feedback.
- Strong analytical skills to assess student progress.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
