Position Overview:
We are looking for a high-performing self-motivated Business Development Specialist to join our commercial and industrial roofing team. In this role you will play a key part in driving revenue growth by generating new business maintaining strong client relationships and offering tailored roofing solutions with professionalism and expertise. As a Business Development Specialist you will:
- Drive New Business: Identify and pursue new commercial and industrial clients through cold calling referrals networking and lead generation strategies.
- Manage Client Portfolios: Serve as a trusted advisor by proactively managing and growing client roofing portfolios helping clients plan for lifecycle needs capital improvement maintenance and emergency response.
- Lead Effective DDI Meetings: Conduct high-impact Discovery Development and Influencer (DDI) meetings to uncover client goals align our solutions with their needs and influence key decision-makers.
- Develop Strategic Relationships: Identify and build long-term relationships with strategic partners general contractors facility managers and key stakeholders to create opportunities and expand market reach.
- Territory Development: Develop and implement targeted sales strategies for your assigned territory to exceed sales quotas and company growth goals.
- Client Engagement: Build trust quickly through in-person consultations delivering clear solutions-based proposals and professional presentations.
- Sustain a Strong Sales Pipeline: Maintain a healthy pipeline of both new and recurring business through a mix of outbound prospecting strategic networking and ongoing client relationship management.
- Solution Selling: Present roofing systems services and maintenance programs that align with client needs and budgets.
- Prepare customized presentation packages using sales project management tools to clearly communicate solutions timelines and value to prospective clients.
- CRM and amp; Reporting: Log all interactions leads and project milestones accurately using CRM tools and maintain daily accountability in office or in field.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay informed on roofing materials trends competitors and pricing structures to offer knowledgeable recommendations and maintain credibility.

- and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp;2 years of successful B2B outside sales experience (construction/roofing experience highly preferred).
