Job Description

This is a remote position.

This job post is open to Philippines residents only.


Schedule:
  • Mondays to Fridays 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Toronto Ontario Canada EST with a 30-minute paid break
  • Full time 40 hours per week

Job/Company Overview: A health clinic


Job Responsibilities:

Support with payroll for all employees and contractors
Administer employee benefits programs
Consult with HR management company as needed regarding to Canadian law
Managing scheduling and coordination of interviews and meetings;
Organize plan and support with new employee onboarding and orientation programs;
Coordinate performance reviews and feedback sessions;
Support onboarding for new employees and contractors including designation-based processes platform onboarding etc.
Participate in administrative meetings and provide status updates on hiring funnels;
Maintain employee files and records accordingly;
Build and optimize employee and contractor welcome packages;
Maintain a database of Company job descriptions and ensure they align with company voice and values;
Conducting reference checks for potential candidates;
Other tasks as mutually agreed upon.


Requirements

Experience -
Experience in a similar HR support role.
Prior experience in handling payroll benefits administration and employee onboarding is highly preferred.

Administrative Skills -
Proficiency in scheduling and coordinating interviews and meetings.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Attention to detail in maintaining employee files records and databases.

Communication Skills -
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to effectively communicate with employees contractors and external stakeholders.
Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality.

HR Processes and Procedures -
Understanding of HR processes procedures and best practices related to payroll benefits administration onboarding and performance reviews.
Experience in conducting reference checks and coordinating feedback sessions.

Technology Proficiency -
Proficient in using HR software and systems for payroll processing benefits administration and employee record-keeping.
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software platforms and tools.

Team Player -
Ability to collaborate effectively with HR team members and other departments.
Willingness to participate in administrative meetings and provide updates on hiring funnels and HR initiatives.

Problem-Solving Skills -
Ability to identify issues and proactively propose solutions.
Capacity to troubleshoot and resolve payroll benefits and onboarding-related challenges effectively.

Customer Service Orientation -
Commitment to providing excellent customer service to employees contractors and job candidates.
Responsive and approachable demeanor to address inquiries and concerns promptly.

Continuous Improvement Mindset -
Willingness to learn and stay updated on changes in Canadian employment laws and HR best practices.
