Job Description
We are seeking a Financial Modeling & Systems Analyst with a deep understanding of QuickBooks to expand our financial modeling capabilities and ensure the smooth operation of our financial systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building models to inform decision-making troubleshooting financial software issues and supporting operational efficiency across the organization.
Qualifications :
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and scenario analysis.
Strong understanding of financial statements cash flow management and operational finance.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and optimize financial systems such as QuickBooks Online Gusto and related tools.
Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
Comfortable working across teams and with external vendors to resolve issues efficiently.
Key Experience Requirements
Quick Books
Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop versions)
Demonstrated experience in setting up managing and troubleshooting QuickBooks accounts.Accounting Knowledge
Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles GAAP and general financial processes.Experience with Payroll Invoicing and Tax Preparation
Ability to manage payroll generate invoices track expenses and assist with tax filings within QuickBooks.Attention to Detail
Strong accuracy in data entry reconciliations and report generation.Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
Ability to identify discrepancies solve accounting errors and optimize system use.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
Comfortable working with spreadsheets for financial analysis and reporting.Certifications (Preferred but not required)
QuickBooks ProAdvisor Certification or similar credential.Organizational and Time Management Skills
Ability to handle multiple accounts or clients meet deadlines and maintain clear records.Communication Skills
Able to explain financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders.Experience with Other Accounting Tools (Optional)
Familiarity with tools like Xero FreshBooks or ERP systems is a plus.

Ability to interpret financial data spot trends and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.Advanced Reporting Skills
Create custom reports in QuickBooks and Excel/Google Sheets to support strategic decision-making.KPI Development & Tracking
Identify key performance indicators and build dashboards to monitor business health.Process Improvement Mindset
Evaluate current workflows and suggest enhancements to improve efficiency accuracy or compliance.Budgeting & Cash Flow Management
Support or lead the budgeting process and provide ongoing cash flow projections.System Integration & Troubleshooting
Knowledge of how QuickBooks integrates with other systems (e.g. CRMs payroll platforms inventory tools) and ability to resolve sync issues.
