Capcoal Surface Mine are seeking a seasoned Electrical Superintendent to join the CHPP team on a full-time permanent basis based in Middlemount Queensland. The Electrical Superintendent optimises the equipment used in the extraction of coal to meet the site annual business plans and Monthly Operating Plans. A core priority of this role is to contribute to the delivery of fit for purpose electrical equipment strategies and processes to assist achieve the business plan.
This requires an understanding of people technical and financial inputs to develop and implement operational plans to achieve the annual plan targets (quality tonnes costs) safely. It also requires having early input into strategies and plans developed by peers and in turn the business strategies and plans.
This is a leadership role leading electrical engineering continuous improvement work. This includes driving operations excellence as a priority as well as leading the identification and realisation of opportunities to create step improvements in engineering maintenance methods and processes.
