Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Furniture Pricing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing technical drawings and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates for furniture items and interior projects. This includes both standard and custom-made furniture. The role requires strong analytical skills attention to detail and knowledge of materials production methods and labor costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze technical drawings blueprints sketches and specifications to understand project requirements.

  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for furniture and project pricing.

  • Calculate the cost of materials labor equipment transportation and overhead.

  • Coordinate with the design and production teams to validate feasibility and pricing.

  • Update and maintain pricing databases and cost libraries.

  • Prepare quotations and pricing breakdowns for sales and project teams.

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

  • Track pricing trends in raw materials and labor to ensure competitive estimates.

  • Assist in preparing pricing documents for tenders and proposals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering Interior Design Architecture or a related field.

  • 3 years of experience in furniture costing estimation or pricing (preferably in a manufacturing or design company).

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

  • Strong knowledge of materials used in furniture and joinery works.

  • Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of ERP systems is a plus.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a furniture manufacturing or interior fit-out company.

  • Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar design software.

  • Knowledge of local market prices and sourcing options.
