Job Description

The Sr. Sales Executive is responsible for selling issuer payment processing services into medium to large financial institutions and negotiating contractual arrangements. Specifically youll be a seller for Visa DPS one of Visas longest-standing value-added services we offer to financial institutions. DPS is an industry-leading business that offers our banking partners simple payments processing capabilities alongside knowledgeable Visa partners to help our clients stay at the forefront of the future of payments.

As a Sr. Sales Executive for Visa DPS youll be responsible for developing maintaining and executing sales strategies for US Financial Institutions. Youll collaborate with a fantastic team to ensure our clients receive the very best of Visa. Your goal will be to increase revenues from existing accounts and win new accounts.

Essential Functions:

  • Create New Opportunities: Youll continuously review the client landscape to recommend develop and implement new and creative approaches to growing the Visa business.
  • Build Strong Relationships: Youll develop a deep understanding of your clients businesses and create customized account plans that help them grow their business.
  • Negotiate Contracts: Youll prepare proposals and negotiate contracts with financial institutions to help them use our payment processing services.
  • Obsess about Customers: Youll learn about all Visa has to offer to proactively pitch compelling solution sets that will help your clients maximize their payment portfolios.
  • Drive Innovation into the Market: Youll play a key role in helping marketing and product development launch new products in your territory.
  • Lead Courageously: Youll use your expertise to contribute to the development of the overall functional strategy & annual goals and coach & mentor your peers to lift the performance of the entire tea.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.


Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications
10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or 6 years of work experience with a PhD
12 years of experience in a related sales or client management role.
Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving growth.
Expert ability to develop and nurture new business partnerships.
Proven strength in building trust with senior executives within client organizations.
Expertise in negotiating business agreements with a strong understanding of financial controls and the legal aspects of contract management.
Exceptional skills in proactively building strong internal and cross-functional relationships.
Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.


Additional Information :

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 10-30% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 222900.00 to 323500.00 USD per year which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge skills experience and location. In addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical Dental Vision 401 (k) FSA/HSA Life Insurance Paid Time Off and Wellness Program.
