Job Description
My client a leader in Hong Kongs financial services sector is seeking an experienced Security Engineer to join as a IT Security Specialist and support the firms cybersecurity ecosystem including data protection identity access management solution implementation but not limited to.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with domain experts to design security frameworks document technical specifications and provide training and ongoing support to users.
- Protect information system assets by identifying preventing and addressing security incidents conducting vulnerability assessments and converting findings into practical recommendations.
- Assist in the deployment of security solutions ensuring they meet requirements through collaboration with technical vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Support the documentation of business and IT processes perform gap analyses and create security policies and training resources.
Skills and Experience for success:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
- Experienced in cybersecurity consulting or related projects.
- Comprehensive understanding of computer systems including operating systems databases networks and cloud technologies along with strong analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a preference for candidates with experience in client-facing roles.
- Relevant security certifications (CISSP CISA) and experience with security solutions and platforms such as Data Loss Prevention and Active Directory are highly desirable.
