Job Description
HGV Class 1 Driver
I am looking for an experience HGV Class 1 Driver based in Rugby to work on behalf of a multinational manufacturing company specialising in building supplies. The role involves safely and efficiently delivering bulk powders to both external and internal customer locations.
Responsibilities:
- Operate company vehicles during shifts Days & Nights
- Adhere to legal requirements including the use of Digi Cards vehicle defect reporting and compliance with the Working Time Directive (3560 hours per week averaged over the agreed reference period of 48 hours).
- Promote and maintain high standards of health and safety for yourself and your colleagues.
- Comply with companys Health Safety & Environmental guidelines including the use of PPE and adherence to driver guidelines.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Identify and report unsafe situations through the Companys Near Miss / Hazard Alert system.
Requirements:
- Previous Class 1 Driving Experience
- Valid C E Driving Licence.
- Up-to-date Driver CPC qualification.
- Possession of a valid Digi Card.
