The Commercial Banks Process Transformation team is looking for a Senior Associate to help lead process improvement engagements that deliver measurable impact and lasting change. Youll work alongside a team to guide business leaders through structured problem-solving for process challenges with the goal of bringing clarity to how work happens today and helping design how it should happen tomorrow.
This role is a fit for someone who wants to do the work and shape the way work gets donedriving improvements that mitigate risk create better experiences and help build the bank of the future.
Responsibilities:
Lead and support process transformation efforts from initial scoping through implementation and handoff balancing structure with creativity to make meaningful sustainable change.
Use Lean and Six Sigma tools to uncover inefficiencies analyze root causes and design smarter workflows.
Map current-state processes through documentation and deep stakeholder discovery and uncovering whats really happening behind the scenes.
Design and facilitate workshops that align stakeholders surface ideas and co-create future-state processes.
Develop clear documentation and playbooks that enable teams to maintain changes long after the engagement ends.
Track key metrics and behavior change to evaluate the impact of solutions and identify additional opportunities.
Present findings and recommendations to senior leaders with clarity structure and insight.

Have experience in consulting financial services or highly regulated environments.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma GED or equivalent certification
At least 2 years of experience in process improvement business operations or change management.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or military experience
Lean Six Sigma certification
3 years of experience leading cross-functional engagements or improvement efforts.
3 years experience with JIRA Draw IO Lucidchart or Gemini

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Charlotte NC: $78400 - $89500 for Sr. Process ManagerCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
