Job Description
Python and AWS Developer
Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Python Developer with strong background in AWS cloud services to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining robust backend systems ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end.
Responsibilities:
- Develop test and maintain scalable web applications using Python and Django.
- Design and manage relational databases with PostgreSQL including schema design and optimization.
- Build RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services as needed.
- Work with AWS services including EC2 EKS ECR S3 Glue Step Functions EventBridge Rules Lambda SQS SNS and RDS.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to deliver seamless end-to-end solutions.
- Write clean efficient and well-documented code following best practices.
- Implement security and data protection measures in applications.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Participate in code reviews testing and continuous integration processes.
- Stay current with the latest trends and advancements in Python Django and database technologies.
Requirements:
- 3 years of professional experience in Python development.
- Strong proficiency with Django web framework.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL including complex queries and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with RESTful API design and integration.
- Strong understanding of OOP SOLID principles and design patterns.
- Strong knowledge of Python multithreading and multiprocessing.
- Experience with AWS services: S3 Glue Step Functions EventBridge Rules Lambda SQS SNS IAM Secret Manager KMS and RDS.
- Understanding of version control systems (Git).
- Knowledge of security best practices and application deployment.
- Basic understanding of Microservices architecture.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Docker Kubernetes or other containerization tools.
- Exposure to front-end technologies (React).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Education:
- Bachelors degree in computer science engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
