PATRIZIA has 50 real asset professional working in the APAC regions across 6 office locations. Our Canberra office has 18 staff and is located in Barton Canberra.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to a Director in the Investment Solutions Group the successful candidate will be part of a team that provides high quality analysis and investment strategy support both within the firm and to our external clients. The candidate will have strong academic results in a tertiary qualification in Finance Economics Business Commerce Actuarial or related discipline. Strong numerical/analytical skills together with an understanding of macroeconomics and its influence on financial markets are central to the success of this role.
This is an Associate position suitable for a candidate with 2-3 years of relevant work experience. The successful candidate will have an interest in wealth management as well as financial markets.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
- Maintaining databases of economic and financial market indicators and investment performance
- Analysing investment performance and economic data including performing financial calculations and analysis and contributing to regular reporting for clients
- Undertaking financial modelling and analysis and visualising the results for the team and our clients
- Assessing investment environment developments and their impact on client portfolios
- Undertaking research on financial markets and the role of real assets in portfolios
Desired CORE CAPABILITIES SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Study and/or experience in financial modelling will be viewed favourably
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Good written and oral communication skills highly desirable
- Microsoft Office application skills with Microsoft Excel skills essential
