Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) Opportunity Inova Endocrinology Springfield
Inova Health System is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) to join our Endocrinology team at the Springfield outpatient clinic. About the Role
As an Advanced Practice Provider with Inova Endocrinology you will provide comprehensive care for patients with a variety of endocrine disorders including diabetes thyroid disorders osteoporosis and adrenal and pituitary conditions. You will work alongside a team of highly skilled physicians and other APPs to deliver evidence-based patient-focused care.

APP Job Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments including comprehensive histories and physical examinations.
- Diagnose treat and manage endocrine conditions such as diabetes thyroid disorders and osteoporosis.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Provide patient education and counseling on disease management medication adherence and lifestyle modifications.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests including lab work and imaging.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the growth of the endocrine program.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
- Certification: Board certified or board eligible as a PA or NP.
- Licensure: Current unrestricted license to practice as a PA/NP in the state of Virginia.
- Schedule: Full-time position Monday Friday
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience: Prior experience in endocrinology or internal medicine is preferred but not required; new graduates with a passion for endocrinology are encouraged to apply.
