Wilhelmsen Port Services is hiring a Husbandry Agent at our Pasadena office. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to work proactively and efficiently.

Coordination with SASA Account sales on matters related to the coordination and service performance of Husbandry port calls entering the area.
Respond and follow up on customer enquiries.
Ensure that all appointments are handled without delay and assigned correctly to responsible for service execution.
Ensure Proforma DAs are being sent promptly.
Ensure advance funding (approved by customer) is remitted correctly to local agents bank account at least 3 days before vessel arrival.
Ensure correct amount of pre-funding are received or the correct level of authority has approved any deviation prior to performing the Port Call.
Coordinate port calls and services effectively including proper monitoring of the vessel and attendance to any change requests in compliance with Husbandry Agency Standard Operating Procedures including correct use of the operating systems (WASP and any other approved Husbandry application whenever applicable).
Select and book suppliers and sub-agents using standard supplier management processes and systems and in compliance with Supplier Governance standard.
Monitor and record expenses that arise during vessels port call.
For global port calls monitor the execution of the port call and work closely with Operations to ensure that we meet customers expectations.
Ensure Cash-in-Transit (Cash to Master) as per WPS procedure.
Suggest process improvements based on efficiency productivity or cost effectiveness gains.
DA handling (Proforma & Revised) including correct data input monitoring and verification.
Register and follow up complaints/non-compliances through Improvement Potential system.
Attend business review meetings with customers as required and interact with the relevant KAMs.
