An industry leader in ocean transportation is seeking a Workforce Planning & Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their growing HR team in Medley FL. This is a key role focused on strategic workforce planning full-cycle recruiting and succession management in a mid-to-large-sized corporate setting. Youll be part of a collaborative team in an office environment and will directly support organizational growth and long-term talent strategies.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement workforce planning strategies that align with business goals.
* Help assess talent gaps and support succession and transition planning across departments and locations.
* Conduct skills gap analysis to forecast future talent needs.
* Use workforce analytics to identify leadership shortages and support internal development initiatives.
* Collaborate with HR and training teams to develop programs supporting leadership readiness and workforce continuity.
* Manage full-cycle recruitment for mid to executive-level positions including roles in HR IT Accounting and other sensitive functions.
* Lead recruitment outreach including job fairs internship programs and partnerships with colleges universities and technical schools.
* Ensure recruitment practices follow OFCCP and EEOC guidelines.
* Maintain accurate documentation and compliance throughout the hiring process.
* Track retention metrics and help implement strategies for long-term talent engagement.
* Perform other related duties to support evolving HR initiatives.
Requirements:
* 4 years of experience in workforce planning and full-cycle talent acquisition.
* Demonstrated experience recruiting for senior and/or executive-level roles.
* Experience with internship coordination and academic/technical partnerships.
* Familiarity with succession planning skills gap analysis and training needs assessment.
* Advanced communication skills in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
* Experience using HRIS systems and workforce planning tools.
* Must have or be able to obtain a TWIC card within 30 days of employment.
* Open and comfortable traveling to other states across the US as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in multicultural work environments.
* Knowledge of OFCCP and EEOC compliance requirements.
* Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Business or related field.
