Childlight a global child safety institute is looking for a Policy Epidemiologist to advance Childlights public health surveillance system around CSEA.
You will have expertise of understanding and analysing data within a public health context using it to develop strategies to improve health outcomes. You will have experience in bridging epidemiology research with public health policy to advance Childlights public health surveillance system around CSEA.
The post holder will use epidemiological data and methods to inform and shape public health policies focusing on prevention control and health promotion. This includes engaging in policy analysis research and difference-in-difference and other evaluation approaches to policy evaluation. A core activity of this role involves translating scientific findings into actionable strategies for policymakers supporting Childlights Into the Light global index and Searchlight publication.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week) and fixed term until 30 April 2027.
The salary for this role is at Grade UE09: 62728 - 77386 per annum.
