Are you ready to make an impact in the deep tech Start-Up ecosystem of TUM and beyond Then support us as a working student at the TUM Venture Lab Software/AI in Heilbronn - the launchpad for startup teams from TUM in Heilbronn! It is our mission to build high-class support for scalable successful startup teams with offering support from the early discovery phase across successful scaling of the business. We are looking for enthusiastic support throughout this journey and need you for it! We are happy to welcome a: Working Student Start-Up Support for TUM Venture Labs (f/m/x)
Your mission
- Review and evaluate startup applications across software/AI deep tech domain identifying high-potential teams and concepts ready for scale.
- Coach and guide early-stage founders on their path to becoming unicorns: organize onboarding calls structure personalized support journeys and serve as a long-term sparring partner on strategy product development fundraising and growth.
- Design and continuously improve our Start-Up coaching program: leverage global best practices create frameworks and provide founders with actionable tools feedback and access to resources.
- Build and grow a powerful founder support network: expand our mentor pool engage seasoned entrepreneurs and domain experts and ensure our startups benefit from hands-on guidance.
- Stay on the pulse of the global Start-Up ecosystem: continuously monitor trends technologies and shifts in the market to inform our strategic direction and provide future-proof insights to our teams.
- Shape the future of TUM Venture Labs by improving internal processes data workflows (CRM) and structural foundations to elevate our position as Europes leading deep tech Start-Up Hub.
Your profile
- Masters student with practical experience as a working student intern or research assistant - ideally in tech driven environments or innovation Start-Ups or VCs.
- Academic background in business entrepreneurship computer science or a related field providing a basic understanding of Start-Ups as well as emerging technologies in software/AI field.
- Strong passion for Start-Ups especially in the software and AI space; any experience in deep tech is a plus.
- Motivation to engage with the growing Start-Up ecosystem in Heilbronn and collaborate on-site with team members and stakeholders at the local campus.
- Hands-on mindset with a commitment to excellence and consistently high-quality delivery.
- Curiosity and openness to explore new topics combined with a proactive attitude toward solving challenges in Start-Up support.
- Team-oriented approach ready to contribute and collaborate across functions and projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English with basic German proficiency and the confidence to interact effectively across internal and external teams.
