Join our team as an On-Call Animal Control Officer!

Key Requirements:
- Must have proof of rabies vaccinations.
- Must have a background in farming or veterinary care.
- Must live within 10 miles of Westport MA.
- Familiarity with animal behavior and control laws.
- Ability to work independently and build positive relationships with the public and veterinary community.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with proficiency in report preparation.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and traumatic situations involving harmed or distressed animals with integrity compassion and professionalism.
- Part-time evening shift with the possibility of overnights as needed
- On call (7 days over 2 weeks)
- Week 1: On call for 2 days; Week 2: On call for 5 days
- No more than 20 hours per week
- $70 per day for each day on call even if not needed!
- If called in $24 per call the $70 for the day
- On the road
