Blackline Technical Product Lead

We are hiring a Blackline - Technical Product Lead who will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing will the Blackline application. This role will encompass user account and role management system maintenance and customization report creation workflow optimization issue troubleshooting as well as user training support and implementation support across ongoing Blackline. In addition you will actively support projects aimed at process streamlining and automation along with enhancing and integrating Blackline modules.

The Technical Product Lead will report to the Director Product Strategy with close alignment to the Finance and Enterprise Technology teams. The ideal candidate for this role is one who can bridge between technology and business requirements playing a pivotal role in ensuring seamless successful implementation of key technology initiatives.

We are looking for a leader with experience in executing strategic technology-enabled programs and a deep understanding of technology and data architecture technology strategy program management and cross-functional program integration. The ideal leader will be a self-starter with a strong servant-leader mentality who seeks to understand stakeholder needs and work collaboratively across the enterprise to proactively meet those needs.

We are looking for someone with following competencies.

• Application administration: User and role management system maintenance and configuration report creation workflow optimization and user training and support.
• Process improvement: Supporting projects aimed at process streamlining and automation along with enhancing and integrating Blackline modules.
• Integration: Understanding the integration between Oracle (ERP) and Blackline.
• Blackline SME: Experience across the Blackline platform modules to provide technical oversight across the implementation of various modules and serve as the primary Blackline SME at HUB offering support to users and addressing functionality questions and issues.
• Implementation Support: Partner with the Finance team and System Implementation vendor in the ideation technical development and implementation of Blackline modules and contribute to integration strategies testing deployment and post-deployment requirements.
• Ongoing support: Maintain and test the Blackline software program updates to ensure functionality.
• Strong vision and background in technical product management with the ability to harness cross-industry knowledge of leading-edge technical product capabilities and translate that into capabilities that can be delivered to the finance team.
• Strong inter-team collaboration between various technical business Accounting and IT teams.
• Ability to drive continued innovation in thinking requirements and delivered capabilities.

Required Experience

• 12 years of total experience with a bachelors degree with an emphasis in accounting finance or related field.

• Preferably 3 years of experience administering Blackline application as a system admin.

Experience with technical accounting systems and related solutions specifically Blackline.

• Demonstrate strong expertise and knowledge of product management software development and financial processes and solutions.
• Strong financial analytical and systems acumen.
• Strong capability and affinity for innovative problem-solving.
• Willing to learn and dedicated to continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in Intermediate/Advanced Excel VBA knowledge a plus.
• Ability to interact with IT and various functions as well as will various levels of management.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage changing priorities.

This position reports into Chicago and will be a remote working model.

Disclosure required under applicable municipal regulations in NY and NJ as well as the law in Colorado: The expected salary range for this position is $110K to $140K and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidates skills experience and working location as well as the specific positions business line scope and level.
