Responsibilities:
Position Summary
The Product Engineer is responsible for the development and engineering of new products and the improvement of existing ones ensuring that they meet design intent manufacturability sustainability and cost targets. Working cross-functionally with design manufacturing sourcing and quality teams the Product Engineer plays a critical role in translating concepts into commercially successful and technically sound solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Skill and competences required:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering or related field.
3 years of experience in product engineering ideally within the furniture consumer goods or industrial design sector.
Proficient in 3D CAD software and familiarity with PLM systems.
Solid understanding of materials (metal plastic wood textiles) and manufacturing processes (injection molding machining welding etc.).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Passion for design innovation and sustainability.
