SUMMARY The Inventory Control Associate maintains inventory and supplies by receiving storing cycle counting and auditing items to production. Associates are also responsible for the general organization of the warehouse. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Inventory Management Primary Responsibilities Inventory accuracy control and manage inventory via the following - Two full physical inventories per year
- Monthly Cycle counts
- Maintaining and updating required inventory levels for goods products and materials
- Conducting quality checks on stored inventory to comply with company standards
- Processing and documenting returned items
- Implementing inventory management procedures and processing invoices
- Performing clerical functions such as entering data into computers and helping warehouse pickers locate parts
- Monitoring inventory losses and implementing loss-prevention programs
- Preparing relevant reports for supervisors
- Work with Purchasing and advise on ordering inventory from vendors and suppliers
- Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventories

- Strong organization skills to record details such as barcodes supplies damages and pricing information
- Strong math and critical thinking skills
- Must have experience managing and counting inventory.
- Must have experience using computer software including warehouse/inventory software internet and email.
- Must be able to safely operate a forklift and/or other assigned vehicles and equipment.
- Must have a working knowledge and understanding of safety requirements and practice them.
- Must have the ability to work efficiently with all departments communicating effectively both orally and in writing.
- Must have good time management planning organization and prioritization skills.
- Must be able to work assigned shifts arriving on time and abiding by all attendance policies.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position has no supervisory responsibilities. TRAVEL This position does not travel. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE - High School diploma GED or equivalent work experience.
- At least three years of warehouse or related industry work experience w/ heavy focus on receiving put aways and cycle counting.
- At least one year of Forklift Reach Truck Cherry Picker experience.
CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS A valid drivers license is required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS. - Work is performed while standing sitting and/or walking.
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech vision and hearing.
- Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
- Requires bending squatting crawling climbing and reaching.
- Requires the ability to lift carry push or pull medium weights up to 75 pounds.
- Requires activities involving being around moving machinery exposure to changes in temperature and humidity and exposure to dust fumes and gases

The work hours for this position will be Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud consisting of normal vehicle shop equipment and activities. Employees work inside a building that is not a climate-controlled environment. Employees are exposed to outside weather conditions while receiving shipments and picking certain parts.
