What You Will Do
As the Sr SAP Basis Administrator you are responsible for providing technical subject matter expertise in designing architecting installing and configuring SAP applications. The roles purpose is to manage the daily operation of our SAP landscape including monitoring application health and system and performing maintenance of SAP application technologies. The role is expected to be hands-on for all design work and in the implementation of complex technical activities. Based on SAP standards the SAP Basis Cloud Lead utilizes expertise to execute projects including evaluating and implementing enhancements technical design upgrades migrations and integrations with other systems to effectively implement SAP solutions that align with the long-range goals of the Information Technology function.

How You Will Make A Difference
- You will perform core SAP Basis administration including the maintenance and support of SAP landscapes hosted on premise and Azure cloud utilizing enterprise standards.
- You will be responsible for Basis projects including SAP implementations upgrades OS/DB migrations High Availability and Disaster Recovery setup in Azure.
- Implement physical database layout perform HANA database upgrades implement backup and restores strategy.
- Maintain database high availability disaster recovery security performance tuning manage database storage and troubleshooting.
- Partner with SAP and internal IT Teams in the technical design and analysis of new and existing SAP and Azure relevant activities to ensure IT platforms meet expectations and maintain an efficient and reliable SAP landscape.
- You will be responsible for vendor management in the subject matter area.
- You will be responsible for change control incident response and testing processes for problems across the SAP landscapes and prioritize degree of urgency to support issues and communicate root causes.
- Identify and assesses existing and potential issues in the overall system and implement solutions to ensure that best practices and processes are followed and enhanced.
- Collaborate across IT functions including Infrastructure and Information Security teams to implement solutions for SAP that meet our standards and long-range plans.
- Research technological advancements to ensure that systems are continuously improved supported and aligned with SAP standards.
- Partner with peers across the IT function to solve complex business problems including taking a lead role on the high-level solution options.
- This role serves as a liaison between networking and infrastructure teams to ensure efficient system administration.
- Distribute workload between Architecture/Design and Operations.
Must Haves
- A./B.S. or MA/MS in Computer Science MIS or related subject.
- Minimum of eight (8) years professional experience related to SAP administration or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with a minimum of three (3) or more end to end life cycle implementations of SAP S/4 HANA projects on premise and on cloud IaaS hosting.
- Experience with SAP Hana 2.0 (DB)
- Advanced knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA Ariba HANA BOBJ Data Services CARAB BW SM 7.2 HA/DR Suse Azure
- Knowledge of DevOps development and Cloud Applications (Ariba SuccessFactors).
- HANA DBA HANA Cloud connector HANA cockpit XS Admin HANA Security HSR HA/DR Suse Clustering in Azure Rubrik Backint Backups
- Embedded Fiori SAP Router BOOMI SSL (Secured Socket Layer) SNC (Secure Network Communication) SSO SAML2.0
- MDG (Master Data Governance) Solution Manager 7.2 SP 09 or above
- Interface monitoring technical monitoring Test Suite BPM
- SAP Security (including Fiori)
- CARAB 4.0 or above SLT (SAP Landscape Transformation Replication Server)
- Proven track record of building deep technical relationships with senior IT executives as well as a strong working relationship with SAP (BI)Application Functional/Development team
- Strong analytical ability using logic and reason to identify and solve complex problems and develop effective solutions.
- Elevated level of self-initiative a sense of urgency and innovation and creativity in the development of strategies and solutions.
- Ability to work in a team and maintain effective working relationships.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to expand knowledge and skills to other technologies and solutions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Work Environment
Work is performed remotely or in a business office environment. Occasional travel to outside locations or meetings may be required. Ability to work extended hours as required in support of the companys business needs.
