AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design planning delivery and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words were the people who keep the cloud running. Amazon Web Services is looking for Software Development Engineers to develop state of the art Linux based networking platforms. You will join a team of engineers developing embedded routing platforms that enable one of the worlds largest and complex networks.

We are seeking engineers with a demonstrated track record of designing and implementing Linux-based solutions on embedded devices ideally for networking products. We want people who are passionate about changing the way data center networking is done.

- 3 years of hands-on embedded software development experience with C/C demonstrating strong proficiency in firmware development and device driver implementation
- 2 years of embedded systems architecture experience focusing on real-time systems design memory optimization and hardware/software interfaces
- Experience with debugging tools RTOS and low-level hardware protocols (SPI I2C UART)
- Strong understanding of microcontroller architectures interrupt handling and power management optimization

- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
- 3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
