EVENING/WEEKEND SHIFT
School Year Hours: (M-W 2:30 PM 11:00pm & WEEKEND 6:30 AM 3:00 PM)
Summer Hours: (M-F 6:30 AM-3:00 PM)
Occasional weekend hours in the summer
Training Period:M-F 2:30 11:00 for 1-2 Months of Trainingthen transition to hours above.

Salary:
According to the Custodial Salary Scale
FY25 Starting Salary: $48697.00 plus nightly differential and an increase after 6 consecutive months of service
Job Responsibilities:
The Building Custodian is generally responsible for the achievement of the purposes of custodian services in the building i.e. preserve property values protect health and safety of occupants; support the educational objectives of the building and provide a climate of learning develop goodwill and maintain cleanliness and neatness
Grounds upkeep snow removal
Perform all other general duties as indicated by the Principal directives of the Superintendent of Schools or his/her designee the Custodial Supervisor or his/her designee and policies of the Marlborough School Committee
Qualifications:
High school diplomaor GED preferrred but not required
Physical and mental capabilities to perform above work
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may find appropriate and acceptable.
Ability to understand spoken and written English.
