Salary 44711 - 49764 per annum Permanent Full time 37 hours per week Preston

Are you a skilled commercial property lawyer looking for a new opportunity to make a meaningful impact Join our Legal Services team at County Hall and help shape the future of Lancashires property portfolio.

As a Commercial Property Lawyer you will:

  • Manage a complex caseload involving all aspects of commercial property work.
  • Provide technical legal advice to internal clients and stakeholders.
  • Draft and negotiate complex legal documents for a wide range of property transactions.
  • Advise on law and practice relating to the structure of transactions and commercial property law.
  • Apply legal knowledge to support the councils strategic objectives while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

What were looking for:

  • Qualified Solicitor Barrister Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives or equivalent with a current practising certificate with developed experience in commercial property law.
  • Strong drafting negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent research and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload and work independently.
  • Knowledge of local government and public law is desirable.
