Job Summary:
The Employee Training Instructional Designer will support the Organizational Development team by designing and developing high-quality learning programs and materials. This role involves collaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders to create learning content for various delivery methods including instructor-led training and eLearning modules while adhering to the ADDIE model and principles of adult learning.

Responsibilities:
- Understand and apply instructional design principles.
- Follow standard practices for data analysis.
- Contribute to specific objectives as directed.
- Contribute to curriculum development.
- Utilize multimedia authoring tools such as PowerPoint Camtasia and Articulate.
- Review and revise existing program materials.
- Generate innovative training concepts.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to training material and methodology.
- Stay current on training design methodologies.
- Implement adult learning principles in training design.
- Partner with internal stakeholders on training needs.
- Collaborate with the Professional Development Lead and SMEs to create training curriculum.
- Design and produce learning resources in various formats.
- Develop multimedia training applications.
- Develop supplemental materials such as job aids and facilitator guides.
- Work with content delivery platforms.
- Explore developing technologies and advise the team on their application.
- Manage course design projects from inception to completion.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Minimum 2 years of job-related work experience.
- Minimum 2 years experience with multimedia authoring tools (PowerPoint Articulate Camtasia).
- Minimum 2 years experience with Learning Management Systems and Content Management Systems.
- Experience designing developing and evaluating instructional materials and programs.
- Proficient with graphic design software.
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
- Knowledge of LMS and SCORM.
- Proficient with MS Office 365 suite.
- Bachelors Degree in Education Communications Training and Development Instructional/Curriculum Design Instructional Technology Human Resources Development or related field or equivalent experience.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- LMS experience (Cornerstone preferred).
