Job Summary:
This role is for a CT Technologist in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting. The technologist will perform a high volume of CT scans on a variety of patients including trauma patients and stroke patients utilizing Siemens (FORCE model) and GE scanners. The position requires proficiency in various CT procedures and strong knowledge of medical imaging protocols. Weekend work is required.

Responsibilities:
- Perform 150-200 CT scans daily across 4 rooms.
- Operate Siemens (FORCE model) and GE CT scanners.
- Perform CT procedures including abdomen pelvis head/neck chest spine musculoskeletal brain perfusion CTAs and multiplanar reconstruction.
- Manage patient flow efficiently in a high-volume fast-paced environment.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with the emergency department team.
- Respond to Code Stroke and trauma situations.
- Maintain and clean equipment.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
- Experience with Siemens (FORCE model) CT scanner is mandatory.
- Experience with inpatient ER and adult ICU settings.
- Proficiency in performing various CT procedures (Abdomen Pelvis Head/neck Chest Spine Musculoskeletal Brain Perfusion CTAs Multiplanar Reconstruction).
- BLS certification.
- ARRT(R)(CT) certification.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Outpatient experience.
- IV starts experience.
- Experience with PACS and Visage.
- Contrast experience.
Special Considerations:
- Fast-paced emergency department environment.
- High patient volume (8-12 patients per 8-hour shift).
- Weekend work is required (Friday Saturday and Sunday).
- No weekend or additional RTO allowed.
- No call requirement.
- No float requirement.
- Experience with infants pediatrics adolescents adults and geriatrics.
- Some trauma experience.
Scheduling:
- 12-hour day shifts: 8:45 PM - 8:45 AM (Friday Saturday and Sunday).
- Shift assignments are pre-determined.
- 36 hours per week can be offered.
