Job Summary:
This role is for an EEG Technician specializing in pediatrics and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The technician will perform EEG procedures float between units as needed and participate in on-call shifts. Pediatric and NICU experience is required; ABRET certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities:
- Performing EEG procedures on pediatric and NICU patients.
- Floating between various units as needed.
- Participating in on-call shifts (approximately 4 per month).
- Covering weekend call shifts approximately every six weeks or as needed.
- Maintaining patient records and documentation.
- Adhering to hospital protocols and safety standards.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Experience in pediatric and NICU environments.
- Registered EEG Technician license preferred unregistered EEG technician considered.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Current BLS certification.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- ABRET certification.
Special Considerations:
- On-call shifts are required (approximately 4 per month).
- Weekend call coverage is required approximately every six weeks or as needed.
- Block scheduling is required.
- Patient ratios are 1:1.
- 48-hour work weeks are not approved.
- The position requires working in a short-term acute care facility with 418 beds.
Scheduling:
- 13-week or 16-week assignment.
- Block scheduling is required.
- On-call shifts are required (approximately 4 per month).
- Weekend call coverage is required approximately every six weeks or as needed.
