Cardiovascular / Interventional Imaging Technologist
Location: St. Joseph Hospital Eureka Providence
Department: Cardiovascular & Interventional Imaging
Schedule: Full-Time Variable Shifts

Under the general direction of the Department Manager and/or Lead Technologist and in collaboration with the Medical Director of the Cath Lab cardiologists radiologists and other medical professionals the Cardiovascular/Interventional Imaging Technologist is responsible for performing advanced cardiovascular and interventional imaging procedures.
This role plays a vital part in supporting high-quality patient-centered care and serves as a key liaison to patients families the public and the healthcare team. The technologist also contributes to quality assurance initiatives and organizational improvement efforts and provides age-appropriate care for adolescent adult and geriatric patients.
Key Responsibilities:Perform advanced interventional and cardiovascular imaging procedures with accuracy and efficiency
Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to ensure safe high-quality diagnostic outcomes
Serve as a professional and compassionate representative of the imaging department
Participate in quality assurance and process improvement initiatives
Deliver age-appropriate patient care and assist with relevant clinical data collection
Maintain compliance with safety protocols hospital policies and regulatory standards
Graduate of an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent education/experience
California Radiologic Technologist license (CRT) upon hire
ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) upon hire
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association upon hire
Additional training or coursework in Angiocardiography or equivalent experience
Advanced ARRT certification in Cardiovascular and Interventional Imaging
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a scrub technician in an acute care hospital setting
