Job Description
Job Summary (Engineer Production Nalagarh)
- Oversee and manage shift operations for production activities in the plant.
- Allocate work and supervise associates during assigned shifts.
- Draw required materials from stores to support production activities.
- Monitor production processes and ensure achievement of shift targets.
- Prepare product samples for inspection and customer approval.
- Coordinate with HR department regarding employee relations during the shift.
- Apply manufacturing concepts such as 5S TPM Kaizen Poka-Yoke and JIT to improve efficiency and quality.
- Prepare and maintain Management Information System (MIS) reports for the shift.
- Utilize MS Office applications and Outlook Express for documentation and communication.
- Operate and set up machines as required; identify and troubleshoot process defects.
- Use measuring instruments for quality control.
- Demonstrate strong supervisory interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Communicate effectively in English and Hindi both written and verbal.
- Prepare presentations and reports to share production metrics and improvement ideas.
- Ensure compliance with safety quality and company standards during shift operations.
- Maintain a positive and productive work environment among shift associates.
