Salary: $110000 - $151000 Per Year

Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Radiology Manager and supervision of the Lead IR Technologist the Interventional Technologist (IR Tech) performs imaging procedures independently. This position is for a Diagnostic Technologist cross-trained in Interventional Radiology responsible for operating X-ray equipment preparing patient rooms handling supplies and contrast media and completing procedural and charge documentation (including CPT codes).
The Interventional Technologist plays a key role in supporting the service excellence mission of the Radiology Department.
Education / Training / Experience:
Minimum Requirements:
- One year of experience as a licensed Radiologic Technologist in an acute care healthcare facility
Desired Qualifications:
- Two years of experience in diagnostic X-ray
- Previous experience in interventional radiology
Licenses / Certifications:
Required:
- Current CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist) certificate issued by the State of California Department of Health Services
- CPR certification
- ARRT and Fluoroscopy permit (must be obtained within 6 months of hire)
Preferred:
- ARRT Advanced Level Interventional Certification (Cardiovascular Interventional Technology)
